At Truvotion Health we believe training is the single most important aspect in providing safe and effective care to our patients. Our acupuncturist has completed over 3,500 hours of studies at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, one of the top acupuncture schools in the country. She received her license (L.Ac.) from New York State after passing rigorous examinations administered by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She continues to expand her knowledge base by regularly taking continuing education courses in various aspects of Chinese medicine including but not limited to pediatrics, cardiology, Chinese facial reading, facial rejuvenation, feng shui, Chinese herbal medicine, Worsley style 5 element acupuncture, and obstetrics.

We take safety very seriously.  Our acupuncturist has passed an examination in Clean Needle Technique administered by Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM). In following with the Clean Technique guidelines we swab each area of our patients with alcohol before inserting any needles. We use only the highest quality sterilized single-use FDA-approved needles, and dispose of them as medical waste after each treatment.

Chinese herbs have been used as a natural medicinal remedy for centuries. In order to achieve the maximum effect, we customize all our formulas for each patient taking into account their particular needs including dietary restrictions. For safety we make the necessary adjustments to avoid any potential herb-drug interactions.

We only use companies that practice sustainable and eco-sensitive farming and comply with the standards of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) established by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and World Health Organization (WHO).
